The Pink Cow - is cornerstone of the Tokyo Bitcoin Cash community, and the first restuaurant to accept Bitcoin in Japan, evvah! They even had a Bitcoin ATM installed at their restaurant in the early days. The Pink Cow was also the location for the first ever Bitcoin Cash meetup in the world, thanks to owner Traci’s passion for the freedom enabling technology. Gorgeous Cal-mex food, incredibly chilled atmosphere, art and amazing cocktails and conversations are to be had at the Cow. Our weekly BCH meetup convenes at the Cow on the final Wed of each month. But don’t wait for a meetup, head to The Cow today to enjoy the best food and cocktails in town. They’re open for lunch too, and easy walk from Toranomon, Akasaka and the American Embassy district.
Irish Pub Craic With it’s lively outdoor terrace and vast array of drinks and western cuisine, Craic (pronouced Crack) is a regular haunt for many of the Akasaka locals. Craic has been accepting Bitcoin Cash for many years, and is a regular venue for our meetups. Our weekly meetup convenes at Craic on the first Wednesday of each month. But don’t wait for a meetup to visit - they’re open every day and they routinely accept Bitcoin Cash. Just ask for Eddie.

Two Dogs Taproom Another long time supporter of Bitcoin Cash, Two Dogs Taproom even had special Bitcoin Cash craft ale with matching Bitcoin Cash pint glasses commissioned shortly after the fork in 2018. Enjoy delicious craft beers and a vast menu of mouth watering dishes at Two Dogs! And of course pay with Bitcoin Cash!
Ebisu Bashisango A relatively new establishment, but no stranger to Bitcoin Cash after having formerly been located at Y2T (Nakameguro) and Kachete (Kayabacho) - our favourite Ebisu location serves up delicious lamb chops and an assortment of food and snacks.
Le Petit Tonneau Hands down the most lively, friendly, and delicious French cuisine establishment in Tokyo. Come and enjoy the fabulous outdoor terrace and French atmosphere, and of course pay with Bitcoin Cash. Ask for Philipe.
Swan & Lion is our newest venue. Nestling in the bustling restaurant district of Nakameguro, The Swan & Lion offers superb Modern British pub food in a cosy setting. For lovers of drinking outdoors, there’s also a terrace, ideal for people watching! Use Bitcoin Cash at The Swan & Lion!
KPop Bar is run by one of our loyal members and most ardent fans of K-Pop. You’ll be greeted with wall to wall photos and video screens of stunningly beautiful Korean pop-stars, which is in keeping with the concentration of Korean restaurants and bars in the surrounding area of Shinokubo. Come thirsty and enjoy drinks prepared by the friendly staff. If you’re hungry, the staff are more than happy to help you order food in. All can be paid for using Bitcoin Cash! Beemars A gem of a bar hiding away in deepest Kabukicho, amid the neon lights, host bars (yes, host!) and whacky atmosphere of this most lively district of Shinjuku. Gem & Castle Yukizaki Jewellery - nationwide stores Famous for large billboard advertising all over Tokyo and nationwide, Yukizaki is a household name in the Jewellery trade. Buy anything from diamond rings to watches using Bitcoin Cash. Look out for their HUGE LED billboard in Aoyama which proudly advertises that they accept Bitcoin Cash. They have at least 4 stores in Roppongi alone! Check them out!
Akasaka Real Estate The owner of Akasaka Real Estate used to mine Bitcoins on his graphics card way back in the early days of Bitcoin. He has since been a regular at the Bitcoin, and since 2017 Bitcoin Cash meetup in Tokyo. Paytaca wallet maintains lists of merchants accepting Bitcoin Cash. We are talking to several merchants in Tokyo about using the Paytaca Point of Sale application to replace their current solutions - so expect some Tokyo venues to be listed soon.
