Calin Culianu explains the attack on Bitcoin Cash which happened at the same time as the hardfork the 15th of May 2026.
The attacker rented mining hash rate and tried to exploit a vulnerability. Luckily Amaury Séchet had fixed that bug back in the BCH code in 2017.
Bitcoin Cash was 8 years ahead of Bitcoin Core in plugging this bug🐛
So the crypto attack on upgrade day that we depicted in the Layla video wasn’t too far off the mark!
